semroc with a convincing stage win at the Ronde takes a sizable gap in the GC of those who shall be named. However, he has burned all his transfer matches and is along for the ride for the rest of the season.
I have finally managed to reel back in
GrainBrain after his earlier transfer-palooza (for E3?). Whether or not his starvation diet of transfers contributed to being a half dozen hillengen behind Flanders' field is unclear without more effort than I will make, but it sure helped me close and come minimally through. He does make up for a few less points than me with two more transfers. It's close.
canam73 and
ooga-booga are on & off again. I'm sure I speak for some of us when I say our thoughts and prayers are with them, but do not count them out for future events that are more the fire & forget type.
