yes! I've ridden that section a cpl times, Wifey & kids liked the ice cream shop not far from the blue caboose!

so the trail goes thru Maynard which is nice, but I often take my mountain bike around the perimeter roads of the refuge. it's pretty tame for a mountain bike. rarely, when there are no hikers, I'll venture into some interior trails, but mostly I stick to the perimeter roads. but there's also a fun section at the end of the paved trail that dumps you out on a dirt road next to the river. it goes pretty far until a dead end where there used to be a train bridge over the river. that last part is just a foot trail w/ big holes & sometimes downed trees. never see anyone in there but it is beautiful
