4x8 at 105%-110% on the TT bike today. Power was down roughly 10 watts from the road bike, but I had a hard time concentrating on pacing compared to climbing a hill. Had to keep my eyes on the road a bit more to keep from riding off!
Power was not amazing, but speed to power ratio was pretty good considering lack of aero gear. Comparing to last year, for the same chunk of road:
Today - hairy legs, standard helmet (Evade), standard kit with things in pockets, hed jet 6 clinchers
308w
27.1 mph
Last year - hairy legs (I get lazy...), TT helmet, skinsuit, zipp 404 front, disc rear
294w
26.1 mph
Last years was on the power meter that read a bit high by about 10-20 watts though. Similar wind both days. It was a different workout (think I was doing 3x15 that day), and I don't think I could sustain today's power as long, but it was the closest result on that stretch of road.
Once I get the new tire glued onto my disc, I'm going to head out for a proper full aero speed test.
