Salvaged a 14-24t 6 speed speed Shimano 600 freewheel from a busted up wheel. Ended up destroying the 600 hub, but the axle was broken along with the nds cap, so thats ok. I gave removeing the cogs a try and gave up before breaking anything. I tried the the cover ring, but its plastic, now with a scratch. Cherry on the day was to finally use my freeeheel buddy the fill the hub with Phil's. A lot of junk came out with the oil so I think I'll do a full solvent flush and re lube. I think this is going to go on a Bridgestone 450 that Im adding a third chain ring to as well as converting to 650b.
