My guess is the fork on that bike like that is essentially inop anyway. Probably should just replace it with a solid fork. I did that on a family member's hybrid and lost a few pounds of ugly. It's amazing how much those things weigh.

I want to mount a light on one of my suspension forks and I'm reluctant because of the mounts.
