Wout van Aert, the Belgium TdF rider, who came in second to Cav on a sprint finish and the NEXT day won the double climb up Mount Venteux is my new fav pro racer - 6’2” 172 pounds 26 years old. He pulled away from a pack of typical climbers and made them seem slow on Venteux on the second time up.
Wout is my favorite road rider. Of the two cyclocross crossovers, Van Der Poel seems to be more spectacular, but I dig Wout's style. Plus he can do it all - sprint, TT and even climb! I was blown away to see his Ventoux performance.
