Welcome to the board and agree with you 100%. I know we already have a forum for C&V bikes but I usually post here because the members are all C&V and they get it.

I know I shouldn't make a statement like this without doing the research and testing them out but I just don't see myself buying a newer gravel bike frame design. I like what the independent companies are producing, steel frames and that C&V look but adding modern components, like the Surly bikes.

Cost might be a factor though
