I've been using Ironclad gloves for years (e.g. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/...?ie=UTF8&psc=1). Now that I ride flatbars with Ergon grips I use the unpadded variety (half and full fingered) but used to use padded on dropbars. They last far longer than any bike gloves I've ever tried, can throw them in the wash, excellent terry cloth on the thumb.
