It's only been 3 years since my cardiologist sacred the excrement out of me. My resting HR at that time was 105 to 110!!! Currently it is averaging 57 according to my Fitbit. I'm looking at a Garmin Instinct Solar to use Garmin's "Body Battery" feature. It looks like a simpler way of reading HRV.

My cardiologist cleared me for most any exercise and HR. But I've imposed a 170 limit on myself during this heatwave... I have to work pretty hard to get it there as it is. Not bad for a 58 year old guy that used to be fatter...

Good luck with your cardiologist!!!
Thanks !
According to what I’ve read my target HR for my age (70) is 78-128bpm ,
I’m hoping the tests don’t show any blockages . That way the doc can get on with a plan for treatment .
Im ready to get back to riding whatever my knees will allow .
