Moisture WILL find its way through a clear coat. Everything is decomposing constantly. Oil prolongs the inevitable.
sounds like a good product to know about. Yesterday I was watching a few You Tube videos about changing out automotive wheel bearings and in 2 different videos the mechanic sprayed something called “Fluid Film” on bare metal parts to inhibit corrosion.
