And I almost think I can see the ends of the stem-mounted shift levers they used...though it's hard to tell if those are downtube cablestops or downtube shifters.

I was thinking Continental, also, but a Continental would have a painted fork, not chrome, I think. The name on the downtube decal is in two parts, which would be consistent with it being a Super Sport:
