rode approx 15 miles to lunch to check out a chicken place. i don't need to go back. was largely unsatisfied with the total experience so added on
an additional 12-miler in the usual environs for cheap miles. not a great weather day by socal standards (overcast, windy, a little rain) but still, nice to be out.
