I learned a while back that taking a survey, any survey, puts you on a list for more surveys, more junk in the inbox and further loss of privacy. Unless you're interested in an ongoing dialogue with marketers, I'd politely decline. I know that the horses are out of the barn and privacy is now a quaint concept, but it is still possible to reign in the marketers if even just a bit.
