I don't have a C&V auto, but given my druthers, I'd get a '95 Honda Odyssey, the 4cyl model with car-type doors.
Perfect combination of space and economy, rear air, roll-down windows, and huge cargo area with the seats moved/folded down.
Or get one that is post-2000. They have high compression, high performance V-6s that are crazy fast. I ran one up to 130mph and still had plenty left.
