This thread and my previous post prompted me to hop in my car take a trip to
Aalsmeer with the orange Sprey, and to go see if I could find the man whose name is on the frame.
Found him in his workshop, and he was so kind as to tolerate my nosiness for a while.
He told me that while he liked building his own frames, he found out after a while that he wasn't actually making any money on them, and reverted to buying them elsewhere. This particular frame, he told me, was made by Viner. I just did a quick check, and it is indeed an exact match to a blue Viner (Record, I think) frame I have in the attic. Should have seen that myself.
