Skipped the group ride on Saturday, but went out early to do 1' repeats. Found that the county had just finished paving a section of South River Road, but hadn't painted it yet so it was closed to through traffic. That was just heaven.
On Sunday, I brought my wife out for a supermellow ride on the same road. Just great. And we stopped at a farm stand on the way back. White corn, 8 ears for a dollar. Score!
