But I was also looking at the Koolstop 'Eagle 2' pads- I believe the correct orientation is for the long part of the pad to go toward the rear, but I wonder if flipping them would really make any difference in performance? They've got an extra little 'point' at one end, but I wonder how long that actually lasts...
At any rate, I've got some of the 'original' style KS for Mafacs on the way & we'll see how they fare.
That front angle is a "shovel" to part the sea when wet and prescrape the water off so the rest of the pad can do a better job, the angle is all the way to the top so it keeps working for the life of the pad.
All part of a brilliant design including the orientation IMO.
