Power IS power added, and a motor IS a motor, but saying/not caring how it's applied/controlled because it makes no difference is not correct...
A pressure sensing system adds a certain % of power assistance
on top of what the person is putting into the pedaling effort...
A cadence sensor system just adds a pre-determined amount of power,
no matter what the pedaling effort is, as long as the pedal is rotating irrelevant to how much pressure is actually applied...
