Hello mate,

Thanks so very much for your über-prompt reply to my enquiry, it's very much appreciated...

Yeah, I'm well aware that they're different part numbers - ST-6800/5800/4700/4703 & ST-9000 - & I mentioned that, as well as the fact that they're referred to by Shimano as "bracket covers" rather than hoods...however, I'm thinking that because Shimano is fighting a never-ending - & increasingly difficult - effort to keep the Dura Ace line at the very top of their hierarchy, perhaps that's why they won't list their Dura Ace 9000 hoods with those for the Ultegra/105/Tiagra lines? And as I previously stated, I already own several spare sets of the black ST-9000 hoods but they never made them in white for the ST-9000 & thus I've been informed that the ST-6800 hoods will also fit the ST-9000 shifters, plus a number of sellers on eBay also add the ST-9000 to their listings for the ST-6800/5800/4700/4703...

Anyway, thanks so much once again for your time & efforts to assist me, campionissimo!

Cheers & best wishes once again from "Down Under"...Matt.
