I'm still riding a Trek 520 touring bike and a Trek 2200 road bike from the mid-1990s. If I could only keep one bike, it would be the 520.
I recently bought an entry-level Specialized Shiv Elite triathlon bike. I posted some photos on an online forum and was told that my position on it stinks. The Trek Speed Concept was out of my price range, and I had seen several negative comments about Trek's BB90 bottom brackets.
As several others have commented, they are both good. Go with whichever best fits you and your credit card limit.
