Horrific crash at turn 1 that brought a red flag full stop on the track. At the same time, and not knowing of the crash, protestors got over the fence on the opposite side of the track to sit in a row across the track. Their plans were totally screwed up by the crash.
meanwhile, the driver’s car went airborne after flipping over and sliding across the track upside down. He landed in the fence. Walked away with no injuries.
