Everyone seems to like those wingnuts... the best thing is that they really work well to keep the wheel in place.

Since I found the bike (a 19955 Raleigh Lenton) I found some NOS Raleigh nuts for the front wheel, cotters, and seat post and swapped out the modern pedals for some that better suit the bike.

The 18 spd freewheel also got replaced with an 18 speed fixed cog and I have a white Bluemel frame pump (mounted) and Bluemel fenders that are period correct that really give the bike a finished look.
