Thanks, mr. bill, for the speedy alert and semiotic intervention (orange). I've attempted to use the Town of Arlington Request portal to get this fixed. We'll see how that works.
To report a problem with the Minuteman in Arlington (or any other Arlington bike infrastructure problem of the sort that the DPW might reasonably take the lead on addressing), the portal URL is
https://www.arlingtonma.gov/services...-answer-center. Lexington and Bedford each have their own mechanisms. Probably time to collect and post them in one place.
