From the days when I lived where it actually gets cold:
It's so cold the only car that will start is the old Plymouth with no compression.
It's so cold, somebody is going to walk to their mailbox and not make it back alive.
It's so cold, a drive to the local grocery feels like an expedition.
Today living in Portland, OR:
