Early fall I was looking for a truly water-proof jacket that didn’t cost a fortune like most specialty bike gear/kit. After an extensive search I found Decathalon. Affordable but comes with compromises I can live with, like no pit-zips or hood. But it’s always better to get a take from someone here who has a recommendation on what works and what doesn’t.
REI is your friend. I got a gore-tex pack lite jacket on clearance for 150.00 waterproof dries in about a hour after use with a hood pit zips and pockets. I got a bright blue one for 150.00 on clearance. https://www.rei.com/product/203479/o...ex-jacket-mens
