I go through cycles where I sell everything, and then a few years later I get an idea that I can start a band again so I buy all new gear. Band idea never happens and I rarely touch my gear. I think this time I don’t plan on starting over again. I have my 4 string Jaguar and some no name P bass left. I wasn’t planning on selling the Jaguar but I’m starting to like the idea of having a power meter now vs sometime next year.
I have a small stack of stuff (basses, guitars, amps, recording gear) that I don't have any intent to sell, but there's another pile that I bought on a whim, and got little to no use even during a time when music was my main hobby. Even if I liquidate at budget prices, there is easily enough for some things I would like to do with my bike. However, I'm lazy about going through the effort of selling, packing, and shipping bulky items.
