14 mi / 1600' of singlespeed MTB on my (almost) usual Cherry Canyon loop. In an attempt to mix things up a tiny bit, I went the reverse direction from my usual habit through Hahamonga Park on my way to and from Cherry Canyon. On the Cherry Canyon climb, a friend recently showed me an alternate route that includes a singletrack loop off the main fireroad. It adds a little more distance, but reduces the grade, which makes the grind a little less brutal. The downhill singletrack is always awesome. Physically, I felt pretty good. Mentally, I'm still feeling a bit down. I'm really in need of a change of scenery. All my usual routes are feeling boring and uninspiring. This weekend, I will find something new.
