On the Cherry Canyon climb, a friend recently showed me an alternate route that includes a singletrack loop off the main fireroad. It adds a little more distance, but reduces the grade, which makes the grind a little less brutal. The downhill singletrack is always awesome. Physically, I felt pretty good. Mentally, I'm still feeling a bit down. I'm really in need of a change of scenery. All my usual routes are feeling boring and uninspiring. This weekend, I will find something new.
the mill creek summit and head east and tackle pacifico mtn and/or head west and hit mt. gleason? it’s not too far of a drive.
