Yesterday I did 24 miles on the LA River bike path towards DTLA, but they re-closed the southern half of the path, so I back tracked and did the Griffith Park loop towards the rear fire road and hill climbed up to the Griffith Observatory. Also I was really sore that day, having done barbell squats the evening before so the ride was a bit more grueling for my legs. Normally I try to eat healthy after a ride, but my kids and I did a movie-in-the park later that evening and we carb'ed up on some good take-out pizza!
