Glad you got the bars sorted! I'd forgotten but have used that trick before myself. Wasn't sure I'd like the riser with this vintage/year build but I think it really works. I typically go with all flat bars on all my 90s bikes. The Syncros bar color and logos really make it work appearance wise and you get a more comfortable riding position, nice!
ya I get that the flat bar is probably more correct for the purist but I do plan on riding this bike and at my age a little more comfort is my primary focus. Plus all that Syncros looks Ace to me 🤩🤩
