It looks like new construction, although the ramp looks rather weathered.

Hopefully whatever they plant in the planters will be low and won't obscure vision.

It would be easy enough to put a small hump in the bike path. Perhaps with several signs saying not to pass buses on the right.

Around here, the buses just pull into the bike lanes which is rather a pain if they pass a bicycle, then stop right in front of the bicycle.
