I watched AHS from the beginning while it was current but the last couple seasons totally sucked IMNSHO.
Interesting - I definitely didn't like Roanoke as much, but loved 1984 and Hotel and Coven. Apocalypse started well but went off the rails and got crappy when it brought the witches back in. Didn't care much for Freak Show either. Still, better than most stuff out there, especially for a media geek.
Funnily enough, we loved season one of Kim's Convenience but since they ran out of source material and started their own writing it's gone downhill. We still put it on on weekends though.
