got my 2nd top 10 in a row, I'm basically pro now! placed 9th, which was great, I was outsprinted for 8th though lol. The longer story on that is that the 60+ field started a minute ahead of us, which we ended up overtaking during the first lap, but the main group caught up to 3 of us right before the finish, so I had to deal with a bunch of old guys sprinting for their podium. Was hanging with the lead folks halfway through, but a few of us couldn't maintain the power the lead guy was doing up the KOM hill (he is also a top 10 finisher at mt washington), wish I had stepped on the gas a little harder to not get gapped, but that just gives me something to keep working on.
