Fat tire, folding ebikes are not for everyone.
They do offer more stability and capabilities on loose surfaces, mud, sand, snow, etc.
I bought one for 80+ y-o FIL, back in 2017.
He used to ride it to his favorite fishing spot on the beach, few miles from his house before COVID.
Fat tires offer more stability at lower speed that he travels, even though it is heavy, he seems to able to manage it.
For now, his cycling days a few & far between, maybe a lighter ebike will get him out more.
