I remember that Chevette. Another favorite was when they put a second engine in the back of a Honda hatchback.

Swapping a blown 3800 into a car that has a 3400 is much easier, but not super simple. The minivans passenger side brace goes right where the 3800 coil packs and fuse box are, so would have to deal with that (maybe move the battery to the back and put the coil packs in the battery hole), and you have to bring pretty much all wiring harnesses over, and the dashboard display... who knows what else.
