My unprofessional opinion is you have little to fear about a STEMI but you could have a valve problem.
"Tapping" sensation could be irregular or incomplete valve closure, "pounding" to compensate for the leakage and maintain cardiac output... once again my very unprofessional opinion.
Dehydration and
sudden changes in exercise intensity can exacerbate valve problems as heart input blood can be less than or more than expected (cardiac preload).
Stopping for a poop or a chain drop during a hard effort fits.
