Thanks. I am only half the man you are so I only need half the gearing. On today's ride at 25 mph I still had about three gears left, I am going to have to get much stronger before I have to worry about a standard crankset.
Now if I had your money, I would probably go ahead and order a 54/39 Quarq for it.
In TT's the downgrades are where you really gain some speed, that's where you need a 53 or 54 x 11, and the slower you are, the more you need it.
