My jerseys were wool, shorts too, but my pockets were in the back until I rode low racers.
I really need to get some wool jerseys. I brought one merino t-shirt and one synthetic fiber jersey on tour, and spent most days in the T-shirt diue to how good it felt, but often wishing it had pockets.
