I have used Zwift in the off season when roads are not safe. So typically I would do 1-2 rides/week November through March, and generally do group rides with people I know. We chat with each other via discord and agree on a course or do a meet-up. So for me, it's the social aspect I like the most. I am not very motivated to do a solo workout, even if I start out with intentions to do it, I get bored and bail out early. On the group Zwift rides, I am typically able to do a full 2 hour ride and not get too bored.
