Alternatively, if they pass you and yell "Get off the road!" or similar, give them a friendly wave and yell, "HI!!" as if you thought they'd been offering a friendly greeting. Nothing more frustrating for someone trying to intimidate you than thinking you took the exact opposite message.
Im actually usually really good at that, but when you purposely try to kill me or someone in my group then we have a problem.
