I'm working at JPL but I never brought my bike to work... I'll need to start to bike to work when we get back to the office. It's 25 miles one way for me.
The two times I worked for JPL, I was commuting from OC so lots of traffic and commute time.
The bike saved me time getting around the campus and then doing a ride in the local Angelos Crest trails since I was in no hurry to make the daily commute back to OC.
One day I just blew off work and did a hike upto Mt Wilson from Pasadena.
