Yes, you're quite right. I got it last year and I think it had relatively low mileage, except it must have crashed at one point or other because the paint is scratched up like scattershot on the seat and down tubes. I'm just guessing she crashed on a gravelly or pebbly stretch. As far as I can tell it's just cosmetic damage.
I might use it for longer rides so I'm thinking of removing the rear rack but that seems like a shame seeing as how it's original to the bike. On the other hand I'm not so sure I want the extra weight on longer rides. But I can definitely see some nice aluminum fenders on it in the near future.

Very nice ride. Makes me smile when I go out on it.

The bell is a bit pricey, but it has a really audible and nice ring.
