I'd reco you do that, it doesn't take long with a few files, I find the kind sold for chainsaw sharpening followed by a good needle file is all I needed.
Most rat-tail files are too big a diameter for the job, IMO.

If you have never done it, I'm sure someone here has shared a "how-to" post if you search the archives. Never a 100% guarantee that a given Campy crank won't crack afterwards, but it's cheap insurance FWIW.
