...basically, they started out as a middleman service, shopping your package around to various shipping services and getting bids, to get the lowest rate.
It was quite useful, because they usually came in at about half the UPS rate if I took the package in the door at my local UPS service cold.

They have expanded significantly since I used them, and now offer both packing services and well made boxes, which are not cheap but seem to have a good reputation. I've not used them in a few years.
