I had a hard decision to choose the Garmin 830 or the Roam. I went with the Garmin 830 because it did rerouting. It has saved me at least 5 times on group rides. My biggest complaint with the 830 is that it is very difficult to see the screen with sunglasses on when it's a sunny day. What good is a GPS unit if you can't see it.
