The krampus is the 5th rigid mtb I've owned...I'm pretty used to a rigid fork off road...rockhopper 29ss, '92 stumpy, surly 1x1, specialized carve SL and now the krampus. It rides really well rigid, but I did an experiment yesterday and a 15mm thru axle fox holds the knard/rabbit hole combo with room to spare. I figure "why not?" I'll give it a go! In my head, a 100mm travel fork on a 12psi 29x3.0 tire should ride like the cats pajamas. But we shall see!
