NBC would sue Discovery Channel into oblivion--and would win. Discovery owns Eurosport. That is right--all this could be avoided if Discovery just aired Eurosport on this continent to start with--they choose not to.
NBC has held the US rights for the ASO races since before Discovery acquired Eurosport / GCN.
When the current deal comes up for renewal, maybe Discovery will bid for the US rights.
