I'm a wide footed size 12 and the most comfortable pedal for me has been the Specialized Touring model from the 80s. They can be pricey when they pop up, but well worth it IMO.


I tried the Berthets, but they were too small/narrow. I think the pedal surface itself was fine, but the spindle too short and caused a lot of crank rub if I remember correctly. I've also tried the MKS Urban Platforms, twice, and I wasn't a fan of the tab to flip the pedal, it was always difficult to catch/grab it. It looks like MKS has a larger curve to it than the Berthet and the SP-11 so that could be why.
