Do any Gitane experts know if this might be a Gitane? The serial is stamped under the bottom bracket like most Gitanes I've seen. Also some numbers on the dropouts. Dropouts are forged Simplex. Frame about 1,900g and fork 820g. Probably designed for 27s. I'm running 700x35 r and 700x40 front. With these, the Ht and st angles measure 71.5 and 73.5 respectively. Let me know if you want specific photos. It has been repainted and is spaced 126 and the fork and bottom bracket are both French.
