And I just did a single speed conversion on a 1985 Schwinn frame using a 1960's Bendix hub, which I use for commuting on nice days.
Amusingly, I just got a "like" on this post. Thanks. But for full disclosure, an update is warranted. One of the fork ends on the World Tourist frame broke off, and the other is cracked. So, it's got another Schwinn frame on it now.
